A bit about NCRPHOTOGRAPHY
I started taking an interest in Photography when I was in my final year in Ebbw Vale Senior Comprehensive School back in 1982. My first SLR was a Cosina CT1A. From there on I have had:- Minolta X-700, Pentax ME Super, Nikon F90x Pro, Nikon Fm3, Nikon F100, Nikon F5, Nikon D1x, Leica R9 & Contax G2.
I 'enjoyed' undertaking all sorts of Photographic work which included:- Weddings, Family Portraits, Local Events, Boxing & Rugby for the local newspapers, Travel & Personal Family Photography..I was also the 'Official Photographer' for the FANTASTIC 'BOILER-HOUSE PROJECT' which centred around The old SEMTEX FACTORY & BOILER-HOUSE PROJECT in BRYNMAWR,South Wales,UK.
About 8 years ago, I had my Nikon F5(x2),Leica R9 & Contax G2 camera's and equipment stolen, after I had taken a Wedding in Cardiff & the insurance company(Who shall remain nameless!!) refused to pay me what they 'owed me' as I had an estate car & the equipment was not stored away in the 'cubbyhole' or in the boot!!!
Back last year I took up Photography again and purchased another Nikon. This time I got The Nikon D40x which, for such a not so expensive camera is rather excellent in capturing top quality images with it's 10.2 MP rating..
I am hoping to build up my photographic equipment as time goes by again and this time won't be leaving it ungarded, even for a few minutes!!
BEWARE.. ALWAYS GET INSURED AND CHECK WHAT YOU ARE COVERED FOR!!
But hey, since those days of Wedding Photography and the presure that goes with it all, I'm back to having 'FUN' with my camera and Family...
